Our Story

The school of Dárcio Lira Jiu Jitsu is dedicated to reviving the oft-neglected spirit of budo through the mindful and regimented practice of Jiu Jitsu. In place of irrational violence and directionless practice, we strive for rectitude in action.

This community is open to all students, friends, and people who admire the work developed by the Master Darcio Lira and his family (Shihan Darlynson, Sensei Dheyne, and Sensei Damokles Lira) together with their disciples for the well being of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the society in general.

The Dárcio Lira school has always taught a complete Jiu Jitsu style, in concordance with the Budo Traditions. The teaching of technical aspect and cultural philosophy have always been the center in Darcio Lira schools.
